Legal Classics Library, Gryphon Special Edition. Each of these volumes are fully bound in the best quality leather with fine library buckram, and embellished with gold stamping of an original design. These books feature raised bands on spine with gilt lettering, gilt page edges and cover design, ribbon page marker and marble design endpapers. They do have prior owner name plates.This beautiful collectible display book is pre-owned but unused and is in excellent "like new" condition. The front cover bears a bookplate reading "This is a copy number 10069 of the Legal Classics Library in the Library of " with the previous owner's name. The spines are hubbed in the fine European binding tradition, and the page edges are gilded to resist damage from moisture and dust. Marbelized endleaves are reminiscent of fine Old World editions, while coordinating headbands grace both ends of the spine and add strength.
